First class career opportunities now exist for Trainee Engineers/Analysts to join this global engineering contractor specialising in the design, structural analysis and integrity management of riser and conductor systems used in the drilling and production of offshore oil and gas reserves.
The Trainee Engineers/Analysts will join the company’s Woking office and will be responsible for carrying out structural design and analysis of riser systems and subsea structures, and subsequently for technical reporting and presentation of results to clients. Occasional travel within the UK or overseas will be necessary.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors or Masters degree in mechanical, civil or aerospace engineering, mathematics or physics, grade 2.1 or above. Software experience with Microsoft Office, finite element analysis packages, and some knowledge of computer programming would also be preferable but is not essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial to the role.
